Our client is seeking a highly analytical and experienced Senior Industrial Engineer to join their fully remote team. You will be tasked with optimizing complex industrial operations, improving efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing overall productivity across various manufacturing and logistics processes. This role requires a deep understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, process simulation, and workflow analysis. You will be instrumental in identifying bottlenecks, streamlining workflows, redesigning layouts, and implementing best practices to achieve operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong quantitative skills, the ability to collect and analyze data, and a proven track record of driving significant improvements in operational performance. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, providing engineering expertise and data-driven recommendations to support strategic decision-making. Your efforts will directly contribute to enhanced product quality, reduced lead times, and improved resource utilization.

- Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering projects.
- Document process improvements, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, with a strong focus on operations optimization and process improvement.
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing techniques, Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt or Black Belt certification preferred).
- Experience with process simulation software (e.g., Arena, AnyLogic).
- Strong analytical, statistical analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Minitab, or SQL.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience managing engineering projects from conception to implementation.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a distributed team environment.
- Knowledge of supply chain and logistics operations is beneficial.
