Migration and Mobility Dialogue (MMD III)
" programme, funded by the
European Union
and
ICMPD
, The Youth Cafe is seeking one NGO in
Uganda
to:
- Participate in a capacity-building programme on social media campaigning,
- Design and implement a context-specific social media campaign on irregular migration,
- Receive ongoing support and coaching throughout the campaign lifecycle.
Selected organisations will become "Neighbour Partners" in this initiative aimed at addressing the risks of
irregular migration
through evidence-based, locally led communication.
Objectives
This Initiative Aims To
- Empower local NGOs to implement effective, responsible, and engaging social media campaigns.
- Increase digital outreach capacity around migration risks, myths, and alternatives.
- Support youth and vulnerable communities in making informed migration decisions.
Scope of Work
The Selected NGO Will
- Attend online training on strategic communication, digital campaigning, and ethical engagement (with modules on child protection and monitoring & evaluation).
- Develop and run a localised social media campaign (with reach targets and engagement indicators).
- Submit periodic updates and a final report including campaign results and lessons learned.
You will be supported by a dedicated Point of Contact (PoC) from one of the consortium members and by the consortium lead
Seefar
, who will approve campaign content before launch and provide technical monitoring tools.
Training & Capacity Building
Each Selected NGO Will Participate In
Practical training sessions on:
Strategic communications planning
- Audience targeting and content development
- Types of digital campaigns, including A/B testing, Dynamic ads and Lead generation campaigns
- Social media metrics and monitoring
Safeguarding and responsible storytelling
Ongoing mentorship during campaign development and roll-out.
Reporting Requirements
You will be expected to:
- Collect and share engagement metrics (reach, likes, shares, click-throughs, etc.).
- Conduct light-touch monitoring using provided templates.
Submit a final report including:
Overview of campaign activities
- Key results and insights
- At least one case study or impact story
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants Must
- Be a registered NGO based in Uganda
- Demonstrate experience in social media campaigning, youth engagement and migration-related communications.
Have infrastructure and staff capacity to design and deliver digital content.
Commit two to four of your staff attending training and reporting as required.
Budget & Duration
The selected NGO will receive a subcontract worth 5000 EUR in line with
EU
and
ICMPD
guidelines.
The campaign will run between October 2025 until March 2026, with training on 23 and 24 September 2025.

Primary Responsibilities
- Production and Quality Assurance:
Prepare and bake a variety of bakery products using approved recipes.
Ensure accurate weighing, measuring, and mixing of ingredients to maintain consistent quality.
Meet production schedules and fulfill customer orders on time.
- Product Packaging and Development:
Pack finished products using appropriate packaging materials and ensure proper labeling.
Contribute to the improvement of product quality and assist in developing new products to meet customer demands.
- Workplace Hygiene and Organization:
Maintain cleanliness and organization of work surfaces, tools, and equipment.
Follow cleaning and sanitizing schedules to ensure a hygienic working environment.
- Equipment Maintenance:
Ensure all equipment issued to the bakery section is maintained in good working condition.
Report any equipment issues promptly for repairs or replacements.
5 .Documentation And Compliance

Based remotely in Africa, Enzi Ijayo seeks to appoint a
CLIMATE FINANCE ADVISOR
Energy transformation in Africa necessitates a multifaceted approach that not only focuses on sustainable energy adoption but also encompasses equitable access, increased financing, socio- economic development, and resilience-building in the face of climate change impacts. Our work on finance focuses on enhancing access to affordable and sustainable energy across society, including individuals, governments and the private sector.
Enzi Ijayo seeks to bring on a Climate Finance Advisor to support our work on energy transformation. The candidate will support our existing and new work-streams related to enhancing access to and reforming models of climate finance in Africa, particularly for renewable energy. The role is suited to a mid-level career candidate with a passion for Pan-African thought and engagement. The candidate will work closely with all members of the Enzi Ijayo team, primarily the team lead on economics and policy. Candidates should be Africa based, with a preference for individuals located in Nairobi who can work on a hybrid basis.
This role is part of the
Climate Finance Fellowship
, a 12-month program designed to bridge the talent gap in the climate finance sector. The Fellowship supports mid-career finance professionals who are looking to transition into purpose-driven, climate-focused work—particularly within nonprofit and civil society organizations across the Global South. Fellows are placed within high-impact host organizations, where they take on a core finance or strategy role. In addition to this placement, Fellows join a cohort-based learning journey that includes:

Key responsibilities for the
Climate Finance Advisor
will include:
- Research and drafting reports on issues related climate finance including characterising current trends and key developments in African finance in the energy sector.
- Economic and financial modelling, risk assessments, and calculation of metrics in relation to climate finance and renewable energy.
- Advising on barriers on access to and reforming renewable energy finance particularly with respect to the contractual terms underpinning the financing of renewable energy projects.
- Assessing the finance landscape of individual African countries with a view to advising on measures and reforms that would support access to and the promotion of public and private finance for the renewable energy sector.
- Supporting the wider team in the implementation of program plans, ensuring alignment with organisational objectives and donor requirements.
The
Climate Finance Advisor
must meet the following criteria
Essential Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- A strong candidate should have a solid foundation in financial modelling and analysis, including the ability to develop robust models, perform risk assessments, and calculate key metrics.
- Demonstrable deal-making experience, with a background in negotiation and deal structuring, with experience energy or renewable energy dealmaking an advantage.
- A deep understanding of various finance mechanisms available to borrowers and lenders within the African finance landscape. A particular advantage is familiarity with climate-specific instruments such as blended finance and green bonds.
- Technical and sectoral knowledge of the energy sector is advantageous, including renewable energy technologies, energy infrastructure and grid systems, and environmental and social impact assessments.
- Strategic and contextual acumen with an ability to articulate complex ideas clearly to different audiences and characterise current trends and key developments in African finance.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to establish key relationships is vital.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (written and verbal)
Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Experience working with or within the energy sector of Multilateral Development Banks or Development Finance Institutions would be an advantage.
- Post-graduate degree in finance or similar.
