Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and expand business within key accounts.
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with senior executives and decision-makers at client organizations.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling relevant technology products and services.
- Conduct regular business reviews with clients to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal teams (sales, technical support, product development) to ensure client needs are met effectively.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
- Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Resolve client issues and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales quotas and performance objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in account management, key account sales, or a similar B2B sales role, preferably within the technology sector.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales methodologies.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at all levels.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with the local business landscape in Garissa is a plus.
- Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients.
