Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed annual sales quotas within assigned enterprise accounts.
- Identify, prospect, and qualify new sales opportunities through various channels, including networking, cold outreach, and industry events (virtual).
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within target enterprise organizations.
- Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations tailored to the specific needs and challenges of prospective clients.
- Understand the competitive landscape and position our technology solutions effectively to differentiate from competitors.
- Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solutions architects to develop and deliver customized proposals and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Negotiate contract terms and pricing to secure new business agreements.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal and ensuring a smooth handover to account management.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales activity records in our CRM system.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies relevant to our solutions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in enterprise software or technology sales, with a track record of exceeding targets.
- Demonstrated success in navigating complex sales cycles and selling to C-level executives.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of B2B sales methodologies and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fully remote work environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience selling SaaS solutions or complex IT infrastructure is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with the Kenyan market is a plus.
