  • Safety Procedures: Understand and rigorously apply all relevant electrical safety standards and procedures, including lockout/tagout protocols.
  • Diagnostic Skills: Hone troubleshooting and diagnostic techniques to identify and resolve electrical faults efficiently.
  • Tools & Equipment: Become adept at using specialized electrical testing equipment and hand/power tools.
  • Project Participation: Assist engineering teams in project installations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
  • Technical Documentation: Learn to prepare accurate reports on work performed, equipment status, and maintenance logs.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • A recent secondary school graduate with a strong aptitude for mathematics and science (physics, technical drawing).
  • Demonstrated keen interest in electrical engineering, mechanics, or related technical fields.
  • A proactive, eager, and diligent individual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physically fit and able to perform tasks in an industrial environment.
  • Must be legally eligible to undertake an apprenticeship in Kenya.
  • Candidates with prior vocational training or certifications in a related field will be given preference.

This is an on-site apprenticeship position located in Garissa, Garissa, KE . Apprentices will receive a competitive monthly stipend and be provided with essential tools and safety equipment. Successful completion of the program offers direct pathways to full-time employment as an Electrical Engineering Technician within our client's organization.
