Key responsibilities include creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, performing stress, thermal, and flow analysis using FEA/CFD tools, collaborating with cross-functional teams (including electrical engineering, software development, and manufacturing), and supporting prototype builds and testing. You will also be involved in material selection, tolerance analysis, and design for manufacturability (DFM) and assembly (DFA). Experience with specific automotive systems and a track record of bringing new products to market are highly valued. Proficiency in SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar CAD software, along with simulation tools like ANSYS or Abaqus, is mandatory. Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and strong communication skills are essential for success in this collaborative remote environment.
