Key Responsibilities:
- Assist journeymen and master electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
- Learn and apply electrical codes, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to perform electrical tasks safely and efficiently.
- Help troubleshoot electrical problems and identify faulty components.
- Conduct safety checks and ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
- Participate actively in all scheduled training sessions, both online and in-person practicals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Develop proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
- Assist with inventory management of electrical supplies and materials.
- Demonstrate a commitment to learning and continuous professional development.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong interest in electrical work and a willingness to learn.
- Good physical condition, including the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various conditions.
- Basic understanding of mathematics and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to attend practical training sessions as required.
- A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
