Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert remote technical support for industrial automation systems.
  • Lead diagnostic efforts and troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues.
  • Guide and mentor field service technicians during on-site interventions.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies to minimize downtime.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify trends and potential failure points.
  • Ensure the highest standards of safety and operational integrity are maintained.
  • Collaborate with engineering and R&D teams to resolve escalated technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of field service processes and methodologies.
  • Train clients and internal teams on system operation and maintenance best practices.
  • Manage service requests and ensure timely resolution to meet client expectations.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in industrial automation technologies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in industrial automation, field service, or a related engineering role.
  • Proven expertise in PLCs (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell), HMIs, SCADA, and robotics.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for complex electro-mechanical and software systems.
  • Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and diagnostic abilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage time in a remote setting.
