  • Lead the development of comprehensive curricula for online higher education courses, ensuring alignment with academic standards and learning objectives.
  • Design engaging learning materials, including syllabi, lesson plans, activities, assessments, and multimedia content.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs), faculty, and instructional designers to refine course content and pedagogical approaches.
  • Ensure all curriculum designs incorporate best practices in online pedagogy, accessibility, and learner engagement.
  • Develop robust assessment strategies and rubrics to measure student learning outcomes.
  • Review and revise existing curriculum materials to maintain relevance and effectiveness.
  • Manage the curriculum development process from concept to implementation, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior curriculum developers and instructional designers.
  • Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in e-learning and higher education.
  • Conduct quality assurance reviews of developed courses to ensure consistency and adherence to standards.
  • Facilitate workshops or training sessions on curriculum development best practices for faculty and staff.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, Instructional Design, or a related field. A Ph.D. is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum design and development, with a significant focus on online or higher education.
  • Proven ability to lead curriculum development projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong understanding of adult learning theories, instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM), and online learning technologies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Moodle, Canvas, or Blackboard.
  • Proficiency in creating engaging digital content and multimedia resources.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders in a remote setting.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a virtual environment.
  • Reliable internet access and a suitable remote work environment.
