Responsibilities:
  • Lead the systems integration efforts for complex aviation projects.
  • Define system architectures and interfaces for avionics and aircraft sub-systems.
  • Develop and manage interface control documents (ICDs).
  • Oversee the integration, testing, and validation of interconnected systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex integration issues.
  • Ensure compliance with aerospace standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and guide junior systems integration engineers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware, software, and flight test engineers.
  • Manage project schedules and resources for integration activities.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of systems engineering processes.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in aerospace systems engineering, with a focus on integration.
  • Proven experience in integrating complex avionics systems, sensors, and flight control systems.
  • Strong understanding of systems engineering methodologies (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254).
  • Expertise in communication protocols commonly used in aviation (e.g., ARINC 429, MIL-STD-1553).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to lead and manage remote engineering teams effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
