We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Regional Head of Field Sales to lead and expand our offline sales operations across Kenya. The Regional Head of Field Sales will be responsible for managing a growing team of field sales agents, ensuring high performance, and driving the expansion of the team into all key regions. This role is critical in shaping our offline sales strategy, achieving revenue growth, and building a strong, scalable sales force.The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with proven experience in managing large teams, strong business acumen, and the ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on execution. A passion for developing people, optimizing sales performance, and delivering ambitious targets will be essential for success in this role.



Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach and motivate a team of commission field sales agents to achieve and exceed sales targets.

- Recruit, onboard and train new sales agents to ensure consistent performance standards and scaling the team in all key regions of the country.

- Conduct regular performance reviews, set clear KPIs, implement development plans and provide comprehensive support to help agents to achieve the target.

- Foster a high-performance culture and ensure team alignment with company goals.

- Assist agents on-site throughout the sales process, from lead generation and exploring new markets to finalizing deals, ensuring consistent performance and revenue growth.

- Develop team members through monthly training sessions on sales tactics, client acquisition, and handling negativity and objections (at least one training per month).

- Monitor workflow: conduct calls or geolocation checks in real time at least twice a month to assess the performance of offline sales agents.

- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue growth.

- Identify opportunities for new revenue streams and market expansion.



Performance Metrics (KPIs) / Success Measured By:



- Achieving monthly sales targets with quarterly growth set by the company (overall team target and new sales target).

- Constantly attracting new customers to the platform, at least 40 per month and increasing the number of new paying customers every month.

- Expanding the number of team agents in Kenya's largest cities, such as Mombasa and Nakuru (each market should have at least 15 effective agents, 100% achievement of the target in these regions).

  • Asset Management: Ensure safe custody of company assets, including vehicles and merchandising materials.
  • Coverage Review: Collaborate with field sales leaders to review distributor or third-party sales partner coverage, identify opportunities, and agree on next steps.
  • Internal Collaboration: Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholder departments (Marketing, Trade Marketing, and Customer Development) to influence RTM solutions for the assigned channel.

Our client is seeking an accomplished and strategic Regional Sales Director to lead their sales operations in the coastal region. This position, based in Mombasa, Mombasa, KE , requires a results-driven leader with a proven ability to build and manage high-performing sales teams, drive revenue growth, and expand market penetration. You will be responsible for developing and executing effective sales strategies, setting ambitious targets, and ensuring their achievement. This role involves extensive travel within the region to build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Developing and implementing regional sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
  • Leading, coaching, and motivating a team of sales professionals to achieve individual and team goals.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Analyzing market trends, competitor activities, and sales data to inform strategic decisions.
  • Managing the sales budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews and providing constructive feedback to the sales team.
  • Collaborating with marketing and product development teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives.
  • Forecasting sales performance accurately and reporting regularly to senior management.
  • Representing the company at industry events and trade shows.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, with a minimum of 10 years of progressive sales experience, including at least 5 years in a sales management or leadership role. Proven success in managing complex sales cycles and a deep understanding of the regional market is essential. Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills are paramount. The ability to travel extensively within the region and a strong business acumen are required.
