- Strong understanding of risk assessment techniques, financial analysis, and insurance principles.
- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in underwriting software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines in a remote setting.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACII, AU) are a strong asset.
