This role is completely remote, allowing you to contribute from your home office while managing critical purchasing functions. You will be instrumental in sourcing, negotiating, and procuring a wide range of goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of procurement strategies, market trends, and supplier relationship management.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans for various categories of goods and services.
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities.
  • Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms, pricing, and contract conditions.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tendering, RFQ/RFP development, and contract award.
  • Oversee supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and manage supplier relationships to ensure optimal service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert guidance.
  • Analyze spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain logistics where applicable.
  • Stay abreast of industry best practices and emerging trends in procurement and supply chain management.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, with a strong focus on strategic sourcing and supplier management.
  • Demonstrated experience managing procurement processes for diverse categories of goods and services.
  • Proficiency in negotiation techniques and contract management.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Experience with procurement software and ERP systems is highly advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively in a remote environment.
  • Knowledge of international procurement and trade regulations is a plus.
