Collaborating closely with project managers, mechanical engineers, civil engineers, and other stakeholders in a virtual environment will be crucial. You will provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and design teams. The preparation of technical specifications, bid documents, and design reports will be a key part of your role. You will also be involved in site visits or remote support during the installation, commissioning, and testing phases of projects, troubleshooting issues and ensuring successful project execution. Staying abreast of the latest advancements in power system technology, grid modernization, renewable energy integration, and relevant regulations is essential. The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet challenging deadlines in a remote setup is a must. Your expertise will be invaluable in ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of critical power infrastructure.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in electrical power system design.
  • In-depth knowledge of power system analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, DIgSILENT PowerFactory).
  • Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP).
  • Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Experience with renewable energy integration, microgrids, or SCADA systems is a significant plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, effective in a remote team setting.
  • Proven ability to lead technical aspects of projects and mentor junior staff.
