The Role
As Product Owner for our Life Sciences Solutions, you'll ensure our products meet the unique demands of the Life Sciences industry — from strict regulatory standards to emerging trends in digital transformation. Working closely with Product Management, you'll translate industry requirements into actionable product roadmaps and guide cross-functional teams in delivering solutions that enable life sciences companies to work more efficiently, compliantly, and innovatively. What You'll Do
- Translate the product vision into clear priorities that reflect industry requirements, regulatory compliance, and customer needs.
- Act as the voice of the life sciences customer — ensuring products align with their workflows, compliance obligations, and innovation goals.
- Collaborate with Product Management to shape the roadmap around sector-specific opportunities, including digital lab operations, quality management, and regulatory reporting.
- Stay on top of industry trends such as digitalization in R&D, pharma manufacturing, and evolving GxP compliance requirements.
- Represent the product to internal teams, customers, and industry forums, demonstrating how our solutions address life sciences challenges.
Responsibilities
- Backlog Leadership: Own and refine the product backlog, defining user stories and acceptance criteria tailored to life sciences industry needs.
- Delivery Oversight: Work closely with engineering to deliver compliant, high-quality features that meet both customer and regulatory expectations.
- Customer & Regulatory Engagement: Engage with customers, auditors, and industry experts to validate requirements, ensuring our solutions stay compliant with regulations like FDA, EMA, GxP, and ISO standards.
- Innovation & AI Integration: Explore opportunities to embed AI/ML, data analytics, and automation into life sciences workflows, while ensuring compliance and data integrity.
- Adoption & Enablement: Support testing, training, and documentation to drive adoption in highly regulated environments.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Delivery, Marketing, and Customer Operations to align the product with business goals and customer success.
- Continuous Improvement: Incorporate lessons from audits, customer feedback, and retrospectives to refine and future-proof the product.
What You Bring (Top 5 Skills & Experience)
- Life Sciences Industry Expertise – Knowledge of pharma, biotech, or medical device processes, including regulatory frameworks (e.g., GxP, FDA, EMA, ISO).
- Data & AI Awareness – Understanding of data management, analytics, and AI/ML applications in regulated environments.
- ERP & Microsoft Ecosystem Knowledge – Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (F&SCM or Business Central) or similar platforms is a strong plus.
- Product Ownership Skills – Proven ability to manage backlogs, define user stories, and deliver value in Agile/SAFe environments (PO/CSPO certification preferred).
