You will also be responsible for staying abreast of the latest scientific advancements in plant genetics and breeding, and for contributing to scientific publications and presentations.

The ideal candidate will possess a Ph.D. in Plant Breeding, Genetics, or a closely related field. A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in plant breeding research and development, with a proven track record of successfully developing and releasing new crop varieties, is required. Experience with molecular markers, genomic selection, and high-throughput phenotyping platforms is essential. Strong analytical and statistical skills, with proficiency in relevant software packages (e.g., SAS, R, Genstat), are paramount. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for preparing technical reports, grant proposals, and scientific publications. As this is a fully remote role, you must possess exceptional self-discipline, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage research projects and collaborate effectively in a virtual environment. You should be adept at remote communication and project management, ensuring seamless progress despite geographical separation.
