Role Overview

The Online Sales Associate is responsible for driving online sales of Sokoxtra's products/services by engaging with customers over digital channels, handling inquiries, managing orders, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This person works closely with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to deliver on sales targets and build strong long-term relationships with customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to online customer inquiries via email, live chat, social media, etc., in a timely, friendly and professional manner.
  • Educate customers on product features, pricing, promotions, and policies.
  • Assist customers through the buying process—guiding them from product selection through checkout and payment.
  • Upsell/cross-sell complementary products or services.
  • Monitor online orders, follow up on delivery and order issues, and coordinate with fulfillment/logistics to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Track sales leads, follow up on abandoned carts, and help recover sales.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer contacts, and feedback; prepare periodic reports on sales performance, customer issues, and market insights.
  • Stay up to date with Sokoxtra's product catalog, promotions, competitor offerings, industry trends.
  • Provide excellent post-sales support including returns, exchanges, refunds, and customer satisfaction checks.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience in online sales, e-commerce, or customer service roles.
  • Strong communication skills (written & verbal).
  • Good organizational skills, ability to multitask (e.g. managing multiple customer conversations, orders, etc.).
  • Comfort with digital tools: email, chat, CRM or ticketing systems, social media messaging.
  • Target-driven mindset with ability to meet or exceed sales KPIs.
