Collaboration with operations, quality, and engineering departments is key to success. This position offers a hybrid work model, allowing for a balance between remote work and on-site collaboration at our facilities in Mlolongo, Machakos, KE .

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the analysis and redesign of industrial processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Conduct time and motion studies, workflow analysis, and capacity planning.
  • Identify and eliminate sources of waste, variation, and inefficiency in production processes.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and statistical methods to identify trends and drive improvements.
  • Manage process improvement projects from conception to successful implementation.
  • Train and mentor production teams on continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.
  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement technological advancements.
  • Monitor and report on the performance of implemented process improvements.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in industrial engineering and process improvement.
  • Proven expertise in Lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt preferred), and other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities.
  • Proficiency in process mapping, simulation software, and statistical analysis tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in a hybrid work environment is beneficial.
