Job Description
Our client is looking for a dedicated and innovative Process Improvement Engineer to drive efficiency and productivity within their manufacturing operations. This fully remote position requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. You will be responsible for analyzing existing production processes, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization, and implementing solutions to enhance quality, reduce waste, and increase throughput. Your expertise will be critical in fostering a culture of continuous improvement across the organization.

- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce production costs, and increase operational efficiency.
- Design and conduct experiments to test new process concepts and validate improvements.
- Collaborate with production teams, engineers, and management to implement and sustain process changes.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and provide training on new processes and best practices.
- Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to monitor process performance and identify trends.
- Lead cross-functional teams on Kaizen events and continuous improvement projects.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to process efficiency and quality.
- Research and recommend new technologies and methodologies to further optimize manufacturing processes.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving throughout the organization.
- Document project findings, implemented solutions, and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in process improvement, Lean Manufacturing, or continuous improvement roles within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, Kanban, Poka-Yoke).
- Knowledge of Six Sigma methodologies and principles (Green Belt certification is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Excellent understanding of manufacturing processes and systems.
- Proficiency in data analysis software (e.g., Minitab, Excel) and project management tools.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work effectively independently and collaborate in a remote team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
