  • Identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency in the manufacturing process and develop and implement solutions to optimize workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance product quality.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all manufacturing activities.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, to resolve issues and drive integrated solutions.
  • Provide training and coaching to production staff on Lean Six Sigma principles and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage production budgets and contribute to cost-saving efforts without compromising quality or safety.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and associates, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve production-related problems, implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong emphasis on Lean Six Sigma implementation.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects and achieving significant cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and their impact on manufacturing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a remote workforce.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Commitment to fostering a safe and productive work environment.
