Job Summary

About The Role
Our passionate development team manages a range of web and mobile solutions to support our field operations, from registering millions of farmers and their orders, optimizing delivery truck loads and routes, tracking deliveries, collecting mobile payments, analyzing loan repayments.

Role Overview

The Senior Automation Engineer will lead the automation engineering team to build a Business Process Automation Center of Excellence (CoE). They will be both a hands-on builder and team lead, guiding the automation engineering team while also directly designing and delivering automation on the Microsoft Power Platform. They will work closely with the stakeholders who will facilitate agile ceremonies, while focusing on guiding technical delivery, mentoring engineers, and enforcing standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the automation engineering team in delivering the targeted automations per month.
  • Ensure a steady month-over-month delivery throughput.
  • Provide technical oversight, design reviews, and mentoring to mid-level and Junior engineers.
  • Translate pre-mapped workflows into secure, efficient automations using Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Ensure automations comply with governance, security, and client standards.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Master, business stakeholders, and field consultants to align delivery.
  • Maintain and grow a reusable components library for faster delivery.
  • Ensure proper documentation, enforce best practices, and promote knowledge sharing across the team.
  • Enable and mentor citizen developers by setting guardrails, providing guidance, and reviewing solutions within a governed framework.
