Job Description
Position Summary;
The Supplier Intelligence Analyst will report to the Manager, Supplier Intelligence. The Supplier Intelligence Analyst will support the Supplier Intelligence team in obtaining, validation and management of declarations and other important information for suppliers, with the intention to make a strategic impact to the overall success of our customers programs.
Key Requirements And Responsibilities
Working on proactive supplier initiatives that will:
Reduce supplier support tickets and supplier frustrations through understanding our suppliers data ;
- Better leverage and share compliance documentation/supplier information;
Increase response rates for our clients through analyzing our suppliers data
Source compliance documentation for various regulations from internal and external sources;
- Source suppliers' contact information and other details as necessary that will improve the overall engagement with our supply chain;
- Review and validate compliance data submitted by suppliers according to a list of Declaration acceptance criteria. Accepting or rejecting the documentation provided;
- Upload compliance documentation and supplier information to Assent database
- Research, validate and update suppliers information and compliance data provided across different internal systems;
- Handle ticket responses from Lighthouse suppliers, with assistance from Supplier Intelligence Leads and Manager, Supplier Intelligence;
- Work closely with Program Success to find and execute the best strategy to meet Client's expectations and follow the standard processes for the Supplier Intelligence team;
- Keep up to date with new regulations and changes in Assent's products to become an expert in your field
- Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent Compliance.

Qualifications

- Computer proficiency using MS Office Suite and Google Applications with focus on MS Excel and G Sheets;
- Great verbal and written communication skills, primarily in English, however proficiency in additional languages is required for certain supplier groups;
- Bachelor's Degree/Higher Diploma from a recognized learning institution;
- 1-2 years related work experience (eg. administration, reporting, research & data, supplier deliverables);
- Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of standard regulations and non standard regulations, understanding basic best practices on intelligence puzzles;

The Data Intelligence Analyst will have a wide range of duties, all of which are in the spirit of ensuring efficient data ingestion and comprehensive analysis, to make a strategic impact on the overall success of our customers' programs. The Analyst will play an integral role in managing client data in the Assent Platform.
- Perform validation checks on customer data. Responsible for ensuring the quality, integrity, and accuracy of Data and providing feedback to stakeholders.

- Ensures Britam Products cross-selling takes place in new and existing business across all bank partners in the regions.
- Plans and executes exciting and innovative regional sales tactics.
- Assists with regional implementation and repositioning of new product initiatives and specific bank strategies agreed at the head office levels.
- Adhere to regulatory/ compliance and internal procedures regarding bancassurance businesses.
- Ensure maintenance of a healthy sales pipeline that supports new business on boarding.
- Clearly understands sales targets set, influences, and drives the achievement of Bancassurance sales through optimal regional relationship management.
- Ensure timely preparation of required presentations, sales pitches and product benefits write up in the region.
- Provide quotations as and when required by bancassurance intermediaries within set out time frames.
- Ensure premium payment for all closed sales are within the company's set credit control policy.
- Acquire and retain profitable businesses in line with acceptable loss ratios and Britam's risk appetite.
- Perform any other duties as may be allocated from time to time and should be available for deployment to work from any of the six bancassurance demarcated regions in Kenya.
Relationship building & sales management.
- Builds, maintains, and sustain business relationships with the regional bank partners' teams, Business development officers, Credit officers, Relationship Managers and Direct Sales teams.
- Active management of relationships with all bank branch staffs to ensure smooth running of the distribution channels in delivering targets.
- Integrate well with all members of the team into a harmonious unit committed to the team vision and direction within the team (Intra-team).
- Receptive to constructive criticism, feedback and ideas from supervisors, business partners, colleagues.
- Maintain event calendars for all partners within the region to increase team building and synergy.
- Ensure that route maps and call trees are maintained to facilitate regular engagement of officers within the region as shall be set out from time to time.
- Applies knowledge, resources, and experience to resolve problems.
- Ensure relationship building with key customers and service providers within the region.
- Ensure that a record of all partners officers is maintained and regularly updated to include location, telephone number and email address of the respective officers in the region.
- Maintain an activities tracker that ensures that all activities and initiatives are well always tracked.
Training
- Ensures empowerment trainings on products and processes to our mutual bank partners (Across all lines of businesses) takes place in the regions as and when required.
- Ensures that induction trainings are carried out for all new partner officers within the region on Britam processes and procedures.
- Ensure that customers are well appraised on the solutions taken up through training, write-ups and after sales follow up for feedback.
Reporting
- Ensure that stipulated weekly and monthly reports are prepared and shared within the agreed timelines and in the format stipulated.
- Ensure monthly expense reports are prepared and submitted within the stipulated processes and procedures.
Knowledge, Experience, And Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in a business-related degree.
- At least 3-5 years' experience in a similar position.
- Progress on any professional qualification i.e. AIIK.

Position Summary
The Supplier (Customer) Support Associate will report to the Manager, Supplier Support. The Supplier Support Associate will support the Supplier Support team in obtaining declarations and other important information from non-responsive suppliers in our client's supply chains.
Key Requirements And Responsibilities
- Communicate with suppliers through a multi channel approach including emails, chats and conference calls to gather compliance information, assist with compliance requests, and confirm quality of the documents provided;
- Work directly with top-tier suppliers to be a valuable resource to help them respond to their compliance requests;
- Handle emails and chats from suppliers to help them troubleshoot, navigate their compliance requests by providing a positive experience;
- Engage with unresponsive suppliers through a multi channel approach including emails, chats and conference calls, supplier education and webinar invites;
- Language support may be required to help with internal translations, hosting webinars, and joining prospect calls with the Sales team;
- Work closely with Program Success team to strategize on the best approach for new customers, client campaigns and supplier issues
- Validate and ensure Quality Assurance for compliance data provided by our suppliers;
- Act as a peer mentor to Supplier Support Agents as required;
- Keep up to date with new regulations and changes in Assent's products to become an expert in your field;
- Be familiar with corporate security policies and follow the guidance set out by processes and procedures of Assent.
