The Role
We're looking for someone who loves French and knows how to make it come alive for students. You'll be creating learning materials for Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, AS, and A2 levels that students actually want to engage with at the same time as teaching our motivated students French.
What You'll Be Doing
- Building curriculum materials for Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, AS, and A2 French that work in a tech-enabled environment.
- Creating lesson plans, activities, and assessments that align with Pearson specifications.
- Weaving in digital tools that make language learning more engaging and effective.
- Using modern teaching approaches—think communicative methods, task-based learning, cultural immersion.
- Designing content that works for different types of learners and brings French culture into the classroom.
What We're Looking For
- A degree in French, Language Education, Applied Linguistics, or something similar.
- A portfolio showing you've developed curriculum before (ideally for international French programs).
- Solid knowledge of Pearson Edexcel IGCSE, AS, and A2 French requirements.
- Experience teaching secondary students (ages
- Comfort with educational technology and how it enhances language learning.
- Strong writing skills in both English and French.
- Someone who thrives working remotely with people from different cultures.
