Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze complex supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and areas for optimization across inventory, logistics, and warehousing.
- Develop and implement data-driven strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of the supply chain.
- Create and maintain sophisticated supply chain models and simulations to forecast demand, manage inventory levels, and optimize transportation routes.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to gather data, validate assumptions, and implement recommended solutions.
- Utilize advanced analytics tools and techniques, such as statistical modeling, predictive analytics, and machine learning, to derive actionable insights.
- Design and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the effectiveness of supply chain initiatives and identify deviations from targets.
- Develop comprehensive reports and presentations to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management.
- Identify and evaluate new technologies and methodologies to enhance supply chain visibility, agility, and resilience.
- Drive process improvements through the implementation of best practices in supply chain management.
- Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks within the supply chain.
- Support the development and implementation of new supply chain systems and software.
- Conduct root cause analysis for any supply chain disruptions or performance issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in supply chain analysis, optimization, or logistics management.
- Proven expertise in data analysis, statistical modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Proficiency in relevant software, including advanced Excel, SQL, Python or R, and supply chain planning/optimization tools (e.g., SAP APO, Oracle SCM, Kinaxis).
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles, including inventory management, demand planning, transportation, and warehousing.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote, fast-paced environment.
