Responsibilities:
  • Perform remote diagnosis of complex automotive issues using diagnostic software and data analysis.
  • Interpret diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) and vehicle sensor data.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers or on-site technicians for troubleshooting and repair procedures.
  • Research and recommend appropriate repair solutions based on diagnostic findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of diagnostic processes and recommendations.
  • Stay updated on the latest automotive technologies, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques.
  • Collaborate with the service team to ensure efficient resolution of customer issues.
  • Develop and maintain a knowledge base of common and complex automotive problems and solutions.
  • Ensure adherence to manufacturer service information and best practices.
  • Advise on necessary parts and procedures required for repair.
Qualifications:
  • ASE Certifications in relevant areas (e.g., A6, A7, A8, L1, L3).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as an automotive technician with a strong focus on diagnostics.
