Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive revenue management strategies to maximize room occupancy and average daily rate (ADR).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify market trends, opportunities, and threats.
- Utilize demand forecasting tools and historical data to predict future booking patterns.
- Manage and optimize room inventory, pricing, and restrictions across all channels, including online travel agencies (OTAs), direct bookings, and global distribution systems (GDS).
- Collaborate closely with the sales, marketing, and operations departments to align revenue strategies with overall business objectives.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as RevPAR, occupancy, ADR, and GOPPAR, and provide regular performance reports to senior management.
- Implement and manage yield management strategies to capture incremental revenue during peak demand periods.
- Analyze customer segments and booking pace to tailor pricing and promotional offers.
- Oversee the implementation and utilization of the property management system (PMS) and revenue management systems (RMS).
- Train and mentor hotel staff on revenue management principles and best practices.
- Ensure effective management of overbooking and cancellation policies.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to enhance guest experience and revenue.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of at least 5 years in revenue management within the hotel industry, preferably with experience in coastal or resort destinations.
- In-depth knowledge of revenue management principles, forecasting techniques, and pricing strategies.
- Proficiency in using revenue management software (e.g., IDeaS, Duetto) and property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fidelio).
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
