  • Conduct design reviews, troubleshoot technical issues, and propose effective solutions.
  • Oversee the procurement process for electrical components and equipment, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement testing procedures for electrical systems and components.
  • Stay current with advancements in electrical engineering technology, materials, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical design engineering, with a strong focus on power systems.
  • Proven experience leading complex electrical engineering projects from concept to commissioning, ideally in a remote setting.
  • Expertise in electrical design software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, PSpice).
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical codes and standards (e.g., IEEE, IEC).
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills for effective remote team management.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with power systems analysis, protection schemes, and renewable energy integration is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and budget control.
This is a 100% remote position, allowing for work from anywhere. The designated administrative location for this role is Machakos, Machakos, KE , with all professional duties performed remotely.
