Experience with IP litigation and enforcement actions is highly desirable.

This position requires a sharp analytical mind, exceptional research skills, and the ability to provide strategic legal counsel on complex IP matters. You must be adept at collaborating with inventors, R&D teams, and business leaders to identify and protect valuable intellectual assets. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for drafting legal documents, communicating with patent offices worldwide, and advising stakeholders. The ability to manage a diverse IP docket, prioritize effectively, and work autonomously is crucial for this remote role. A Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent law degree and admission to practice law in at least one jurisdiction are mandatory. A technical background (e.g., engineering, computer science) is a strong asset. A minimum of 8 years of specialized experience in intellectual property law is required.

This is a remote position based out of Mlolongo, Machakos, KE . While the role is fully remote, successful candidates must be able to maintain legal licensure in relevant jurisdictions and be available for virtual team meetings.
