  • Ensure data integrity, reproducibility, and compliance with best practices in computational biology.

Qualifications:
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Genetics, Computer Science, or a closely related field.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years of experience in bioinformatics research, with a focus on genomics and transcriptomics.
  • Proven expertise in programming languages such as Python and R, and their bioinformatics libraries.
  • Extensive experience with standard bioinformatics tools and databases (e.g., GATK, Samtools, BEDTools, Ensembl, UCSC Genome Browser).
  • Hands-on experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) data analysis (e.g., WGS, WES, RNA-Seq).
  • Familiarity with cloud computing environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) for bioinformatics analysis.
  • Strong understanding of molecular biology, genetics, and statistics.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience or strong potential to lead a research team.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
