Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the technical evaluation and development of oil and gas reservoirs, including reservoir characterization, modeling, and simulation.
- Develop and implement integrated reservoir management strategies to optimize production and enhance recovery efficiency.
- Perform decline curve analysis, volumetric calculations, and economic evaluations to assess reservoir potential and performance.
- Utilize advanced reservoir simulation software (e.g., Eclipse, Petrel RE) to model reservoir behavior under various production scenarios.
- Develop and recommend optimal well placement, completion strategies, and production/injection schemes.
- Analyze production data and well performance to identify opportunities for improvement and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Evaluate the feasibility and impact of Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) techniques.
- Collaborate closely with geoscientists, drilling engineers, production engineers, and economists to ensure a holistic approach to asset development.
- Mentor and guide junior reservoir engineers, fostering technical growth and a culture of excellence.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies, methodologies, and industry best practices in reservoir engineering.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for management and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the upstream Oil & Gas industry.
- Proven expertise in reservoir characterization, fluid flow analysis, reservoir simulation, and production forecasting.
- Demonstrated proficiency with industry-standard reservoir engineering software packages.
- Strong understanding of petrophysics, geology, and well completion technologies.
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs and/or Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) projects is a significant advantage.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Exceptional leadership, teamwork, and communication abilities, essential for a remote working environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Contribute to the development of field development plans and economic evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices and safety standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering within the oil and gas industry, with a strong focus on exploration and production.
- Proven expertise in reservoir characterization, simulation (e.g., ECLIPSE, INTERSECT, CMG), and production forecasting.
- Strong understanding of geology, petrophysics, and drilling/completion engineering.
- Proficiency in relevant software for reservoir modeling, data analysis, and visualization.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, essential for effective remote collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex projects in a remote environment.
- Experience with unconventional reservoirs is a significant asset.
- Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent designation is advantageous.
