  • Implement and enforce stringent safety protocols and quality control measures to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Lead and mentor manufacturing teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for process optimization.
  • Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, and R&D departments to ensure smooth production flow and product quality.
  • Oversee the implementation of new manufacturing technologies and automation solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders.
  • Drive operational excellence initiatives, such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma, to enhance overall performance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations management, with a proven track record of success in leading large-scale operations.
  • Extensive knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
  • Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Proven experience in budget management, cost control, and operational efficiency improvements.
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate remote teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing execution systems (MES) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.
  • Ability to manage complex projects and drive strategic initiatives within a remote framework.
  • Experience in a remote-first operational setting is highly advantageous.
This position is a fully remote role, offering the flexibility to manage operations from anywhere, with an interest in candidates based in or around Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, KE , to support our global manufacturing network.
