You will be responsible for evaluating existing manufacturing and operational workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and developing data-driven strategies for optimization. Key responsibilities include conducting process capability studies, implementing lean manufacturing principles, and utilizing Six Sigma methodologies to drive operational excellence. The engineer will develop and test new process designs, document process changes, and train relevant personnel on updated procedures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, will be essential to ensure successful implementation of process improvements. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights. Experience with process simulation software and statistical analysis tools is highly desirable. This is a fully remote position, demanding excellent self-management, communication, and virtual collaboration skills. The focus of this role will be on supporting industrial operations related to Kisumu, Kisumu, KE . A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a closely related field is required. A Master's degree and/or professional certifications (e.g., Lean Six Sigma Black Belt) are a strong advantage.
