As a Senior Operations Efficiency Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting in-depth analyses of existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
- Developing and implementing lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement initiatives.
- Utilizing statistical analysis and data modeling techniques to measure operational performance and identify root causes of inefficiencies.
- Designing and implementing new operational procedures and systems to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and improve quality.
- Collaborating with production managers, engineers, and frontline staff to gather data, understand operational challenges, and implement solutions.
- Developing and maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for operational efficiency and monitoring progress towards targets.
- Creating detailed reports, presentations, and dashboards to communicate findings, recommendations, and progress to senior management.
- Facilitating workshops and training sessions on process improvement techniques and best practices.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and successful implementation of recommendations.
- Staying abreast of the latest advancements in industrial engineering, operations management, and relevant technologies.
- Analyzing supply chain and logistics operations to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Developing simulation models to test the impact of proposed process changes.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in all operational analyses.
The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a closely related field, with a Master's degree being an advantage. You should possess a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in operations analysis, process improvement, and efficiency optimization within an industrial or manufacturing setting. A strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt certification is a plus), and statistical analysis is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills are required. You must be adept at communicating complex information clearly and concisely to various audiences, both verbally and in writing. The ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead cross-functional teams in a remote environment is crucial. Familiarity with relevant software such as Excel (advanced), Minitab, or other statistical packages is necessary.
