You will be responsible for overseeing manufacturing operations, implementing lean manufacturing techniques, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring that production targets are met safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in optimizing manufacturing processes, reducing waste, and enhancing overall operational performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols.
  • Champion and implement Lean Six Sigma methodologies (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping, DMAIC) across the production floor.
  • Identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency in the manufacturing process and develop and implement solutions to optimize workflows.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve cycle times, and enhance product quality.
  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and efficiency in all manufacturing activities.
  • Analyze production data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to track performance, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, engineering, supply chain, and maintenance, to resolve issues and drive integrated solutions.
  • Provide training and coaching to production staff on Lean Six Sigma principles and best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Manage production budgets and contribute to cost-saving efforts without compromising quality or safety.
  • Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors and associates, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Investigate and resolve production-related problems, implementing root cause analysis and corrective actions.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, with a strong emphasis on Lean Six Sigma implementation.
  • Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or Master Black Belt is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience in leading continuous improvement projects and achieving significant cost savings and efficiency gains.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, production planning, and quality control systems.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain principles and their impact on manufacturing.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Exceptional leadership, team management, and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a remote workforce.
  • Experience in budget management and cost control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
