  • Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of automotive technologies, service bulletins, and manufacturer updates.
  • Assist in the training and development of junior technicians through remote coaching and knowledge sharing.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors, parts departments, and clients (where applicable) regarding diagnostic findings and recommended repairs.
  • Utilize remote diagnostic platforms and software to facilitate problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of diagnostic processes and troubleshooting methodologies.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy and efficiency in all diagnostic assessments.

Qualifications:
  • Certified Automotive Technician with ASE certifications (or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience as an automotive technician, with a strong focus on diagnostics.
  • Proven expertise in diagnosing issues with complex engine control systems, CAN bus networks, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS).
  • Proficiency with OEM and aftermarket diagnostic software and hardware.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in a supervisory or lead technician role is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time efficiently, and meet deadlines in a remote environment.
  • Familiarity with electric and hybrid vehicle systems is highly desirable.
  • Commitment to staying current with evolving automotive technology.
