FUNCTION/DEPARTMENT : SUPPLY CHAIN POSITION TITLE: Supply Chain Manager REPORTS TO: COO-Kenya DIRECT REPORTS/SUPERVISES: Site & Development Manager, Operations & Excellence Controller and Operations Manager JOB PURPOSE: Oversee warehouse team operations to ensure optimal return on investment Working relationships: INTERNAL CONTACTS 1.Warehouse Manager2.IT3.Commercial team4.QHSE team5.HR EXTERNAL CONTACTS 1.Clients2.Transporters3.Suppliers Extent of Authority : Analyze propose solutions and implementation Key Responsibilities 1.Ensure all Warehouse Projects are implemented and executed as per the Clients requirements2.Manage Warehouse security3.Responsible for weekly invoicing of all warehousing and handling activities for value added and general cargo Clients4.Ensure no variances between physical and WMS stock5.Perform spot checks on warehouse documentation and archiving to ensure compliance6.Structure tariff building & manage the P & L7.Plan & design container yard, warehouse layouts and flows8.Manage stock holding & planning to optimize space9.Manage MHE requirements10.Provide Clients and top management with accurate stock management reports11.Develop and share KPI’s to measure performance12.Manage & Lead warehouse teams13.Consistently analyze productivity & efficiency of warehouse resources14.Support sales force ,legal & contractual negotiations15.Ensure strong Client relationships16.Responsible for the Company P & L17.Responsible for the strategic decision making & implementation of such decisions in the company site18.Ensure overall governance on discipline in the company site19.Take full ownership of the company site operations20.Provide guidance where required to the operations team21.Provide feedback to Management in terms of key account issues for further support22.Ensure compliance /SOP;s are adhered o with a re-developed centre of excellence teamRequirements Qualifications 1.Masters Degree in supply chain Management2.Accounting Knowledge.
