This role requires a deep understanding of the threat landscape, robust security principles, and the ability to architect and deploy cutting-edge security technologies.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level network security solutions, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and WAFs.
  • Developing and maintaining security policies, procedures, and standards for the network environment.
  • Conducting regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Responding to security incidents, performing forensic analysis, and implementing remediation measures.
  • Staying ahead of emerging security threats and vulnerabilities, and proactively updating security measures.
  • Collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security into the entire system development lifecycle.
  • Evaluating and recommending new security technologies and solutions.
  • Providing expert technical guidance and mentorship on network security best practices.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant security regulations and industry standards.
  • Leading security architecture reviews and contributing to the overall security strategy.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, with extensive experience in network security engineering. Proven experience designing and implementing complex security solutions in large-scale environments is essential. Deep knowledge of network protocols, security concepts, and common attack vectors is required. Hands-on experience with security technologies such as Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Check Point, and security monitoring tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS) is mandatory. Professional security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or GIAC are highly desirable. Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and incident response skills are critical. Strong communication and leadership abilities are necessary for effective remote collaboration and guiding the security team.
