Job Description
Our client is seeking a highly experienced and innovative Reservoir Engineering Lead to spearhead their upstream operations. This is a critical, fully remote role responsible for maximizing hydrocarbon recovery from existing and new reservoirs. You will lead a team of reservoir engineers, develop reservoir management strategies, and perform advanced reservoir characterization and simulation studies. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of reservoir engineering principles, enhanced oil recovery (EOR) techniques, and production optimization.

- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and management.
- Monitor reservoir performance and recommend adjustments to production and injection strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in reservoir engineering.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in reservoir characterization, simulation (e.g., Eclipse, CMG), and production forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of unconventional reservoir management and EOR techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in relevant reservoir engineering software and tools.
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning applications in reservoir management is a plus.
