Key Responsibilities:
- Lead reservoir characterization and management studies using geological and engineering data.
- Develop and implement reservoir development plans and strategies to optimize production and recovery.
- Conduct reservoir simulations to predict future performance and evaluate development options.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and implement appropriate techniques.
- Mentor and guide a team of reservoir engineers, fostering technical excellence.
- Collaborate closely with geoscientists, production engineers, and management to define field development strategies.
- Prepare technical reports and present findings to stakeholders and management.
- Monitor reservoir performance and recommend adjustments to production and injection strategies.
- Stay abreast of the latest technologies and best practices in reservoir engineering.
- Master's degree or Ph.D. in Petroleum Engineering, Reservoir Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in reservoir engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Proven expertise in reservoir characterization, simulation (e.g., Eclipse, CMG), and production forecasting.
- Strong knowledge of unconventional reservoir management and EOR techniques.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage and mentor a team in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in relevant reservoir engineering software and tools.
- Experience with data analytics and machine learning applications in reservoir management is a plus.
