  • Oversee inventory levels and ensure effective supply chain management to meet demand.
  • Train and motivate the sales team and distributor partners on product knowledge and sales techniques.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery.
  • Manage the sales budget and ensure cost-effective execution of sales plans.
  • Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise with distributors or retailers.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in FMCG sales and distribution.
  • Implement performance metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of distribution channels.
  • Champion customer satisfaction and ensure a positive brand experience.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in sales and distribution management within the FMCG industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of distribution channels and retail management.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and market information.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and lead a remote team.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales management tools.
  • Knowledge of the Kenyan FMCG market is essential.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
  • Adaptability and resilience in a dynamic market environment.
