  • Lead the civil design process for major infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, drainage systems, and site development.
  • Supervise and mentor a team of civil engineers, providing technical guidance and quality control.
  • Develop detailed design drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD and other relevant software.
  • Conduct site investigations and feasibility studies to inform design decisions.
  • Ensure designs comply with local, national, and international engineering standards and environmental regulations.
  • Review designs prepared by team members and external consultants for accuracy and adherence to project requirements.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Liaise with clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals and permits.
  • Manage design risks and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the tendering process by preparing technical proposals and cost estimates.
  • Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in civil engineering and infrastructure development.
  • Ensure seamless project execution from conceptualization through construction support.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is mandatory.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering design, with a strong focus on infrastructure projects.
  • Proven experience leading design teams and managing complex engineering projects.
  • Expertise in civil engineering design software such as AutoCAD Civil 3D, Bentley, or similar.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering, structural analysis, hydrology, and transportation design principles.
  • Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fully remote environment.
  • Experience in client management and stakeholder engagement.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing successful infrastructure projects.
