Our client is seeking a highly experienced Senior Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Engineer to join their innovative engineering team. The role involves performing complex simulations, analyzing fluid flow phenomena, and optimizing designs for a wide range of applications.

- Collaborate with design engineers to optimize product performance based on simulation outcomes.
- Perform pre-processing tasks, including mesh generation and boundary condition setup, using commercial CFD software.
- Post-process and visualize simulation results using advanced visualization tools.
- Stay current with the latest advancements in CFD techniques, software, and hardware.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of in-house simulation methodologies and best practices.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on CFD best practices.
- Participate in project planning, defining simulation scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field with a strong emphasis on fluid mechanics and computational methods.
- Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in performing CFD simulations using industry-standard software (e.g., ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, OpenFOAM).
- Proven expertise in meshing techniques, numerical methods, and turbulence modeling.
- Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, thermodynamics, and heat transfer principles.
- Experience in scripting languages (e.g., Python, TCL) for automation of CFD workflows is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively present technical information.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments for large-scale simulations is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality results on time and within project scope.
