The Mechanical technician is a Preventative Maintenance and Focused Improvement specialist engaged to optimize the running and maintenance of equipment within the factory.   • Participating in client meetings and design review sessions, effectively communicating technical concepts in a remote environment.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license is a significant advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong focus on HVAC design.
  • Proven expertise in designing complex HVAC systems for large-scale projects.
  • Proficiency in HVAC design software such as AutoCAD MEP, Revit MEP, TRACE 700, HAP, or similar.
  • Solid understanding of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and heat transfer principles.
  • Experience with energy modeling and sustainability certifications (e.g., LEED).
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects concurrently in a remote setting.
  • Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA).
