What can you expect from the role?
+ Determine infrastructural requirement of a distributor for a particular territory including working capital required.
+ Determine and prepare distributor sales and KPI targets using the Joint Business Plan toolkit.
+ Ensure that working capital is effectively managed by constantly monitoring stocks, debtors and cash positions to meet the right norms.
+ Build excellent relationships at KD and at POP level
+ Set up the distributor team by recruiting the right skills, right numbers and training through field coaching to deliver assigned targets.
+ Set targets for all distributor team and review performance constantly through market floor meetings to ensure target achievement.
+ Ensure that KD is profitable by using the ROI toolkit to monitor income and expenditure and report on monthly actions to improve.
+ Ensure weekly submission of KD extracts used in raising orders for the KDs
+ Prepare beat plans for KD sales team to ensure effective & efficient coverage of assigned territory with all product categories
+ Prospects, negotiates and initiates local actions in line with company policies
+ Ensure the availability of the right product assortment at the right channel at the right price.
+ Ensure achievement of the Field capability score by meeting targets for coverage, lines per call and bill productivity
+ Building capability of distributor sales team through full day sales accompaniment and field coaching.
+ Submission of weekly and monthly reports - weekly sales report, ROI and profitability report, working capital analysis report and safety reports.
+ Example: Co-creating with In-Market Human Resource Leadership team on key Recruitment Talent agenda priorities with key timelines and measures of success
Experience and Qualifications
+ At least 3 years of Sales experience with a minimum of 2 years in FMCG environment

The Electrical technician is a Preventative Maintenance and Focused Improvement specialist engaged to optimise the running and maintenance of equipment within the factory. JOB PURPOSE

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
+ Support smooth operation in the inbound logistics process (Customs documentation, port clearance and delivery of both RM & FG to warehouse) to deliver high levels of Customer Service towards key stakeholders
+ Deliver visibility of the import/export shipments situation and highlight any clearance risk to ensure efficient flow of FG and RMPM.
+ Prepare clearing and forwarding document ports of entry and ensure compliance with regulations as per the law.

What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be

  • Develop and execute a customer strategy and business plan with a strong collaboration of his/her team.

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
+ S/he needs to ensure delivery of high CCFOT at optimal costs for FG's to the end market.
+ The main objective of the job is to ensure availability of finished goods to deliver the desired service level. Balancing CCFOT with optimizing Working Capital is one of the key challenges
+ Ensure a smooth operation in the Export distribution process (Distribution Requirements Planning) to deliver high levels of Customer Service towards Export markets serviced by the MCO
+ Manage the relationship with Unilever, 3PLs, End markets (Unilever owned or 3rd Party Managed) to ensure a collaborative atmosphere required to drive improvement processes related to service levels, cost efficiencies and loss reduction
+ Deliver transparency of the overall Supply situation in the Exports Markets and highlight any Supply Risks to support the Business Planning process
+ Develop and manage contingency plans relating to 3PL services and site products
+ Manage all clearing agents for all Exports and ensure clearing processes at the borders to avoid any delays.
+ Manage all government relations in regard to the Export operations in the country of operations. (Inspections, Customs, Permits)
+ Liaise with Supply Management to ensure contracts with Export Markets are in place and manage quarterly Transfer Price process.
+ Support the S&OP process by driving a structured Demand and Supply Reconciliation Process
+ Ensure Timely payments to suppliers. Review outstanding payments, ageing. Resolve disputes

Nairobi Factory (60%)

  • Eliminate Loss according to the UMS prioritization process using PM, FI and QC pillar tools and methodologies.
  • Implement SMART/Automated Nairobi site equipment condition monitoring/predictive maintenance and design /automation improvements to maintain basic conditions and increase MTBF
  • Digitization/Automation and delivery of daily, weekly, monthly planned maintenance work planning, engineering stores management and Utilities management with respective analytics
  • Early Equipment management of I&C architecture design, design approvals for all CAPEX projects to ensure compliance to UL Core design
  • Strategic plan development for CMMS/SAP PM module next phases
  • Train maintenance teams on technical standards and sustainability of basic conditions (Stability sustainability).
  • Design, implement and maintain the Factory OT Network with an appropriate real-time backup system while ensuring compliance to Cybersecurity policies
  • Coordination of OEM support for audits, training, or chronic/acute loss resolution
  • Identify, propose and extend new automation technologies/ good practices that impact cost reduction, Environmental rules and regulations and process safety
  • Ensures compliance with Inter/national Electrical Codes and other applicable laws, codes, or regulations.
  • Serve as a liaison to manufacturers, contractors, and other internal or external parties with respect to utilities equipment, instruments, and related systems.
  • Design/ approve designed installation specifications, diagrams, and plans mount, wire, program, and test instrumentation and control equipment

1AML Digital (40%)

  • Where possible, develop digital solutions to challenges in such a way that can be used across multiple sites in 1AML – e.g. UMS Pillar views, Analytics Solutions, League Table
  • Enhance, Maintain, troubleshoot the Manufacturing League – especially regarding data-pipelines, and support onboarding of new sites
  • Become highly proficient at navigating Unilever's data architecture, both IOT (from sensors to cloud to visuals) and side (from mater systems like She-net, to data-pipelines and visuals)
  • Work with Site Teams to ensure objectives of analytics projects are well defined, value-creation quantified, visuals well designed, and back-end well architected – then execute delivery to a high standard using most suitable tools – e.g. PowerBI, or Ignition, or Cerebra
  • Play a leading role using analytics to derive insights and make business recommendations
  • Develop the ability to refine digital roadmaps for sites, working collaboratively to identify high value opportunities, develop the solutions, and quantify effort and impact
  • Be a champion for digital solutions, including DFOS, Buildapp, Self-Built Solutions and SPC; working with Operations, Digital, HR, and Training to ensure sites derive
