A minimum of 10-15 years of aviation experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role such as Chief Pilot, Director of Flight Operations, or Fleet Manager, is required. Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing Safety Management Systems (SMS) and EASA/FAA regulations is mandatory. Strong understanding of aircraft performance, maintenance, and operational logistics is essential. Excellent leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are crucial. Outstanding communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are needed to manage a diverse team and liaise with various stakeholders. Experience with flight planning software and operational analytics tools is highly desirable.
