The Chief Pilot will be responsible for developing and implementing flight operations policies and procedures, managing pilot training programs, and conducting regular performance reviews. You will lead a team of skilled pilots, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities include flight scheduling, aircraft dispatch, emergency response planning, and liaison with aviation authorities. - Conduct flight evaluations, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback to flight crew.
- Manage aircraft scheduling, dispatch, and ensure efficient utilization of fleet.
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
- Liaise with aviation regulatory bodies, air traffic control, and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure aircraft airworthiness and safety.
- Monitor industry trends and recommend improvements to operational efficiency and safety.
- Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) with relevant type ratings.
- Minimum of 5,000 flight hours, with at least 1,000 hours in command.
- Previous experience in a Chief Pilot, Director of Flight Operations, or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of aviation law, regulations, and safety management systems.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in flight planning and dispatch software.
