Our client is looking for a highly organized and creative Virtual Event Catering Coordinator to manage the logistics of delivering culinary experiences for remote events. This role is entirely remote and focuses on ensuring that attendees at virtual gatherings receive high-quality catering packages seamlessly. You will be the primary point of contact for clients regarding their virtual event catering needs, from initial consultation through to post-event follow-up. Your responsibilities will include understanding client requirements for virtual events, sourcing and coordinating with local catering partners in various regions to fulfill these needs, and managing the delivery logistics to ensure timely and accurate distribution of meal packages or ingredients to attendees' homes. You will develop creative catering solutions tailored to the virtual format, such as curated meal kits, pre-portioned dishes, or gourmet snack boxes, and ensure that dietary restrictions and preferences are accommodated. The role involves managing budgets, negotiating contracts with vendors, and ensuring a high standard of service delivery. You must possess exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a keen eye for detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for liaising with clients, catering partners, and internal teams. Proficiency in event management software and communication platforms is required. The ability to work independently, manage multiple projects concurrently, and solve problems proactively in a fast-paced remote environment is crucial. A background in event planning, hospitality management, or a related field is preferred. Experience with virtual event planning and catering logistics is a significant advantage.
