  • Develop and implement process improvements and optimization strategies using advanced simulation software and statistical analysis techniques.
  • Design and scale-up new chemical processes, ensuring feasibility, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, production, and quality control, to ensure seamless integration of process changes.
  • Lead root cause analysis for process deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry best practices in chemical engineering.
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, presentations, and project documentation for management and stakeholders.
  • Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to the team.
  • Ensure all process designs and modifications comply with relevant regulatory requirements and environmental policies.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
Qualifications:
  • Master's or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in process engineering within the chemical industry.
  • Proven track record in process design, simulation (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS), and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of process control systems and instrumentation.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate in a remote environment.
  • Experience with project management methodologies is a plus.
  • Familiarity with HAZOP studies and safety protocols is essential.
  • Must be highly motivated, self-directed, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
