Our client, a global leader in advanced industrial automation and robotics, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Field Service Engineer to join their remote operations team. While this role is fully remote, it requires the flexibility to travel occasionally to client sites within the **Mombasa, Mombasa, KE** region for critical installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of complex electromechanical systems, excellent diagnostic capabilities, and a proactive approach to customer support. You will be instrumental in ensuring the optimal performance and longevity of our client's cutting-edge equipment.

- Perform system installations, configurations, and upgrades, ensuring seamless integration.
- Develop and deliver technical training to customer personnel on equipment operation and maintenance.
- Document all service activities, including diagnostics, repairs, and recommendations, in the CRM system.
- Collaborate with engineering and product development teams to provide feedback on product performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage spare parts inventory and recommend necessary replacements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through prompt, professional, and effective service delivery.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and ethical standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in field service engineering, technical support, or maintenance of industrial automation systems.
- Proven experience with robotics, PLCs, HMI, and industrial networking.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent understanding of electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret complex technical documentation.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a remote environment, with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
- Experience with remote support tools and technologies is highly desirable.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
