- Ensure compliance with all relevant aerospace regulations, industry standards (e.g., DO-178C, DO-254), and customer specifications.
- Identify and mitigate integration risks throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the technical growth of the team.
- Participate in design reviews and provide expert recommendations on system architecture and integration strategies.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices in aerospace systems engineering and integration.
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. A Master's degree is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in aerospace systems integration, with a strong emphasis on complex platform development.
- Demonstrated expertise in integrating multiple subsystems such as flight control, navigation, communication, power, and environmental control systems.
- Proficiency with systems engineering tools (e.g., SysML, MBSE tools like Cameo or Enterprise Architect).
- Experience with simulation and modeling tools relevant to aerospace systems.
- Solid understanding of aerospace testing methodologies and validation processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with remote teams.
- Experience with FAA or EASA certification processes is a plus.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic, remote setting.
