Our client, a rapidly expanding Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company with a strong presence in East Africa, is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Regional Sales Director. This hybrid role offers a unique opportunity to lead and grow sales operations across multiple markets, combining strategic remote planning with essential on-the-ground market engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in FMCG sales leadership, a deep understanding of consumer markets, and exceptional strategic planning capabilities. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales strategies, managing a diverse sales team, and driving revenue growth across your assigned region. Key responsibilities include market analysis, competitor intelligence, setting sales targets, developing distribution channels, and ensuring brand visibility. You will work closely with marketing, supply chain, and finance departments to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to foster strong relationships with distributors and key retail partners. While primarily remote, extensive travel within the region and periodic visits to the Malindi, Kilifi, KE operational hub will be required.
